It's warming-up here into the 70's and I do love Asian flavors so I created a new breakfast smoothy. Typically, I start my day with plain yogurt and add fruit. I also like to include fresh frozen bananas, berries, pineapple, papaya - whatever looks and smells delicious.
This smoothie could have also included greens and cilantro. Maybe next time.
Here's what you'll need
1/3 - 1/2 cup plain yogurt (no low or nonfat)
1 frozen banana
1/2 teaspoon real vanilla
1/4-1/2 teaspoon ginger (fresh or dried)
1 teaspoon lemongrass
1/3 cup coconut water
Place in a blender or hand immersion blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy this refreshing smoothie.
